"Jammu - Kashmir and Ladakh union territory”: Article 370 & 35(A) revoked
Mr. Amit Shah

Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah has announced a historic decision of revocation of article 370 and article 35 (A) by passing the bill in both houses of Parliament.

In the upper house of parliament (Rajya Sabha) 125 votes were in the favor while 61 votes were in against of the bill.

And in the lower house of parliament (Lok sabha) 351 votes were in favor while 72 votes were opposing to the bill.

As I have already mentioned in my last article that we Indians are going to have back to back roller coaster rides.

Abolishment of Article 370 and 35 (A) is one of them.

It is a new birth of Jammu & Kashmir.

Now, People will breathe, laugh, enjoy, celebrate and live there peacefully.

So, without wasting much time I would like to explain everything about Article 370 & 35(A).

 Article 370 & 35 (A)  of the constitution of India :

Article 370 and 35 (A) of the constitution of India is an article which gave a special status to the people of Jammu & Kashmir.

Before Revocation

  • Jammu & Kashmir was having its own constitution.
  • It had its own flag instead of Indian tricolor.
  • Other than Kashmiri citizens rest Indian citizens did not have the rights to buy properties in Jammu & Kashmir.
  • The Legislative Assembly of Jammu & Kashmir was of 6 years.
  • The citizens of J & K had dual citizenships
    • Indian
    • Jammu & Kashmiri.
  • Any order announced by the Supreme Court of India was not valid there.
  • RTI, RTE, CBI, CAG and any Indian laws(without the approval of state government) were inapplicable in Jammu & Kashmir.
  • Indian Parliament had very limited access in the parliament of Jammu & Kashmir.
  • The Shariat law was applicable to the women of Kashmir.
  • If a Kashmiri girl was married to a boy from another state in India, her Kashmiri citizenship used to have abolished.
  • On the other hand, if a Kashmiri girl marries to a Pakistani boy her Kashmiri citizenships remain intact.
  • But, if a Kashmiri boy married to a girl outside from Jammu & Kashmir she used to have Kashmiri citizenship.
  • There were no rights to panchayat in Kashmir minorities.

After Revocation

  • Jammu & Kashmir has become a Union Territory of India including Ladakh.
  • J & K will have a legislative assembly of 5 years, like other Indian states.
  • The issue on delimitation can be also resolved now.
  • After the abolishment of article 370 and 35 (A), the Indian constitution and the law and administration are applicable in Jammu & Kashmir.

Now our country has become one country & one constitution from Arunanchal Pradesh to Gujrat and from Kanyakumari to Jammu& Kashmir.

Development Of Jammu and Kashmir

It has been years the land of Jammu and Kashmir haven’t seen a single brick of development there.

What the people of Jammu & Kashmir were getting was :

  • Terrorism
  • Bloodshed
  • Stone pelters
  • Explosions
  • Illiteracy
  • Unemployment
  • Poverty
  • And much more which cannot be described in words.

This revocation is not only politically important but also it is important for the growth and the complete development of the state and the youths of J & K.

We all know that Jammu & Kashmir is known as heaven on the earth but from the past few years, this heaven was burning in the fire of terrorism.

Why?

Because there were few devilish brains were working which has destroyed the peace, beauty and uncountable lives in Jammu & Kashmir.

I think you all must be familiarized with those devilish brains.

Yes, separatists leaders, Muftis & Abdullahs.

They all are safe sitting in there airconditioned rooms and they keep provoking the innocent Kashmiri youth for stone pelting, for killings, to join any terror groups, for doing blasts in Jammu & Kashmir.

And what about their own children? Who are living their lavish life outside Jammu & Kashmir.

Now, it is time for the development of India’s heaven (J & K).
